Governance
Governance and accountability
An organisation that asks for trust, money and people's spiritual confidence should be easy to check. This page collects everything a reasonable person would want to verify — including the parts that are not finished.

Conflicts of interest and related parties
The founder is connected to other companies, including technology businesses. That creates an obvious risk that VOG procures from entities connected to its own leadership, and we would rather name it than manage it quietly.
Our position:
- Any interest held by a director, officer, council member or staff member in a supplier, partner or beneficiary must be declared in a register of interests.
- A conflicted person does not participate in the decision, does not vote on it, and is not in the room when it is decided.
- Related-party procurement is assessed against the same documented standard as any other supplier, benchmarked against at least one unrelated alternative, and approved by unconflicted decision-makers.
- Related-party arrangements that are approved are disclosed publicly, including what was supplied and on what terms.
This applies specifically to any technology, platform or intellectual property supplied to VOG by companies connected to the founder.

How we handle mistakes
We will publish corrections rather than quietly edit. A page that changes materially will carry a change summary and a new effective date. Where we have published a figure that turns out to be wrong, we will publish the correction with the same prominence as the original.
Raising something with us
- A complaint about our conduct or a decision we have made — use the complaints route.
- A safeguarding concern about the safety of a child or adult at risk — use the safeguarding route, which bypasses general triage.
- A whistleblowing disclosure about wrongdoing inside the organisation — use the whistleblowing route, which is set out in the complaints policy.
